Immigration News, One church called police on one immigrant selling corn while another help other immigrant stay out of immigration jail

today's immigration News is mixed,

There is bad news as the ICE are on the rampage arresting immigrants for deportation though this is expected as they claimed that these are undocumented immigrants with criminal record, there are those who believe that it is not always so that some of these people are responsible bread winners who only have probably a traffic offence, but in all honesty most of them are hard core criminals.

In another bad news a church priest reported an immigrant for selling corn on a cob on church premises to the police apparently the guy was doing it because that is the only job he could get to feed his family, well the story turn sadder when the police called in the immigration enforcement agents who are now in the process of deporting the guy. Lessons to learn for immigrant is beware which church you attend, I wonder if you can not trust the church who can you trust now?.....Read the news from the source, read the news story here

Don’t forget now that statistically the Obama administration is outdoing Bush in immigration enforcement, is this the hope that was voted into the white house?

Now here are the good news

This immigration news also involves a church but this time the church is doing what is expected of a house that preach the words of Jesus Christ. A church in New Jersey is working with the ICE (Immigration and Custom Enforcement) to help undocumented immigrants avoid detention, while attending court hearing, there are opportunities and perils with this arrangement while the immigrants can now apply for work authorization which will also give them the opportunity to get a social security card, a driver license, open a bank account and work legally in the USA they have also probably been put on the deportation list once their case goes through the system, this can take anywhere from 2 – 5 years. For the few lucky ones if the court agrees to reopen their case they can apply for adjustment of status if they are married to US citizens or qualified through other means......Read the article on New York times

Some of these immigrants will probably be seeking asylum, for information on how this is done click here
